A Link to the Past Heart Pice Location Guide 1: Go to the marshy area by links house. Once you get there, search around until you find a stone building. Go inside stone building until you've come to the back room. Pull the switch to the right and the left side will open, revealing enemies. When you've open the left side, it should drain away the water outside the building, where there is a heart piece. Find the heart piece and collect it. 2: Enter the Lost Woods through the primary entrance. This way, you can walk along a pretty good, straight path. Folllow this path until you've comed to a log with a doorway in it. Follow the log to the North. You will soon come to some bushes in rows of 3. Their should be 9 of them all together. Destroy the middle one, which will reveal an entrance/hole in the ground. Now, go through the whole and you're find yourself in a cave. Once inside the cave, you'll find I heart piece. Now go through the exit. When you leave, look around and you'll notice you've come out the other log you passed earlier. 3: Travel to the North end of Kakariko Village. It is the part that is different from the rest of it. It is grayish with bricks and there is a place with bars on the windows and stuff. That would be the theft's hideout. Now, enter the building until you've reached the basement. There will be a cracked wall down there. Blow up the wall. If you haven't got bombs, I suggest that you go back and get some. Now, once you've blown open the walls, enter the room to find a heart piece. 4: Go to the southern part of Kakariko Village. Go by the hills northern end of the desert, where your find a long house. Whithin the house, your find two brother who seal the doorway between them. Use a bomb to break the sealed door and reunite the brothers. Now, you have access to the other side of the house. Go through the front entrance on the opposite side of the house. And go west a bit, where your find a woman there. Once you speak to her, you'll do an obstacle course. Beat the obstacle course and your win a heart piece. 5: Go to the Northwestern part of Kakariko Village and search around till you find a hole. Now, get to the ridge above the hole [little tricky, may take some timing] and jump down into the hole. Look at the treasure chests and look at the wall left to them. Bomb that wall and destroy the jars too where there will be another cave. The heart piece is inside the cave. 6: To find the sixth heart piece, you must travel to the Desert of Mystery, which is southwestern of Hyrule. Once your in the desert, look for a cave that is located Northeast of the other desert inside of the desert your in. There's a lot of cave entrances before the desert itself, ignore those ones. Enter into said cave, where your find an old man. There is a heart piece in a secret room behind him. Blow up the wall behind him. 7: Once you received the Pegasus's Shoes, head over to the sanctuary. It borders Death Mountain and Northern Hyrule. Once you arrived, head over to the mountain highlights which are to the left of the sanctuary, where your find some large green rocks in your way. Nearby, there are some small rocks that form a weak structure. Destroy the structure with the Pegasus Shoes and it'll reveal and staircase leading into a dungeon. Your heart piece is down there. Just follow the staircase down stairs. 8: Now, there is a plateau area attached to Desert Palace. On the edge of the plateau is a heart piece. To get it, you have to be able to get into Desert Palace first. Have the Book of Mudora. The plateau is not that hard to get to, once you're inside the palace. Just go North, from the entrance, stay West, then South. Travel west again and go through a door. From the door, go South and you will be on the plateau. What are ya waiting for, grab your heart piece! 9: I would prefer you to get this heart piece after getting the Flippers from the Zora. You will succeed much better. Once you've received the flippers, Go south from the Zora and head down the waterfall. Swim South to the next waterfall, but DO NOT go down it. Swim towards the West instead, where you'll eventually come to some grassy area. Follow the grassy area until you come to a heart piece. It'll be surrounded by three fences. 10: Climb the really long ladder in Death Mountain until you've reached the top. It'll be the high locations of Death Mountain. Now, go east. Follow the edge of this cliff once up the ladder. You'll eventually come across an opening in the edge, allowing you to jump down. Ignore the first gap, going farther east until you come to another gap in the edge. Now jump through the gap, you should land on a single platform. At the front of the platform is a door that leads to the inside of a cave. Go through the door and go along with the cave until you've come to a heart piece. 11: This heart piece, you will not be able to see. But, here goes. At the top of Death Mountain, when you first come upon the Dark World, you'll be in a room with a strange looking enemy. The enemy will be kicking a ball. Note: the ball is also an enemy, strangely enough. Look at the ground, as it's all the same color. But look around; there will be two spots that are a different color. Stand on top of one of these spots and use the magic mirror. It should take you back to the Light World. Your find yourself on top of the Spectacle Rock. The Heart piece in on the same rock you're on. Grab the heart piece; you can get to the Tower of Hera this way. 12: This is located right on top of the Pyramid of Power. Now, go to the top of The Pyramid of Power, once you done so, walk down the stairway to the right. Go right along the side of the pyramid until you can jump down. When you jump down, you should find a hole in the wall. The hole will lead to the Four Sword Dungeons. Follow it all the way to the right, and then up. You will run right into the heart piece. 13: Now I recommend that you get this heart piece after you defeat Agahnim in Hyrule Castle. It will make it a lot easier, trust me. Travel to the Northwest of the sanctuary of the Light World. Past the entrance of the Dark World. You will eventually come to a small house. The house is Lumberjack's House. Remember before you defeated Agahnim, the lumberjacks were cutting down a huge tree in front of their house? Well, after you defeated Agahnim, the lumberjacks had disappeared. Now the tree is weak. Use the Pegasus Shoes, run into the tree and knock it over. After you knock over the tree, it will reveal a hole in the ground. Jump down in the hole and follow the cave that is down. You will probably come across some fairies, and if you got some empty bottles, you can stock up on some more fairies and you'll lso find a heart piece down there too. 14: Go to the Pyramid in the Dark World. Now leave the pyramid and head East. Now head south. You will eventually come across abridge with some stakes blocking your path. Get rid of them with your hammer. After you got rid of the stakes, go across the bridge and keep going, you will eventually come to some water. Go into the water and swim the the first patch of sallow water you come too. Now, equip to mirror shield if you haven't got it equipped already. Once your in the sallow water, warp back to the Light World. Now, you should be on an island in the middle of the water, in the Light World. Your heart piece is on the island. 15: Leave the pyramid in the Dark World, Head east, then west. You will come to a bridge with some stakes on it, clear them with your hammer. Now, Head west until you come to a junction, south of the forest where you meet the flute player. Where you go west tot the village, south of the Desert of Mystery and into the patch of forest there. Look for a circle purple bushes and go inside these bushes. If you haven't got the magic mirror equip, then equip it now. Now, warp to the Light World. If you done it right, you should be on a platform. You will be over looking the forest to the right and the Desert of Mystery to your left. There is a cave by the platform, enter it. Inside the cave is a another heart piece. 16: Leave the Pyramid in the Dark World and head east and then west. You'll come to a bridge with some stakes on it, blocking your path. Clear them with your hammer. Head all the way west and you'll eventually be south from a man on a cliff. Talk to him and he will offer you a shovel. Except the shovel. You will pay 80 rupees to play a game. You have to dig up his field. Now, the heart piece is hidden in the field, so you will have to keep digging until you find it. You will also find rupees in the ground, collect them, because your gonna have to save up 80 rupees to keep playing until you find the heart piece. The heart piece is an random places, so it could be anywhere. You should eventually find it. 17: To get this heart piece, you need to be in the Dark World. While you're in the Dark World, you need to make your way to the Light World Graveyard, but still be in the Dark World. North of the Dark World graveyard, there is a ladder. Leading up to a cliff/ledge. Climb the ladder so your on top of the ledge. Once you done so, use the magic mirror to warp back t the Light World where you should Light World's equivalent ledge. Enter the cave that is in front of you and collect your heart piece. 18: This heart piece is rather easy. OK, to the Dark World equivalent of the Death Mountain entrance. But it's the Dark World. Go to the same cave in the Dark World that is located in the Light World, so go to the Light World cave. This cave to a bunch of caves that lead up to Death Mountain. To the northwest of sanctuary. Once in there, use your cape and hookshot to get around the many holes that are there. You will come upon a heart piece. 19: This heart piece isn't bad, except it may take some timing and some patients. Go to the Village of Outcast that is in the Dark World. There is this one house that has a treasure chest above the door. Talk to the person/creature there and he will let you open up 2 of any treasure chests in his shop, uh, for 60 rupees that is. There are many treasure chest in the shop. Now, remember when I said it may take some time and some patients? Now you know why. The heart piece is in random treasure chests, so it could be in any one of them. So you'll have to keep opening treasure chests until you open the right one with your heart piece. 20: Go to the location of the Blacksmiths house. That is eastbound from the Village of Outcasts. Careful though, in front of the house, there are many stakes not to far from the stones, which are in front of the house. If you have the Titan's Mitt, you can easily move these stones. Now, use your hammer and get rid of those stakes! Once you got rid of all the stakes, a tree trunk just south of where those dang stakes were, will turn into a staircase. Go down the staircase and it will lead to an underground dungeon. Your heart piece is down there. 21: This heart piece is rather simple to get. Just left of the entrance to Misery Mire Dungeon, there is a tree trunk structure. Looks a lot like a skull. Somewhere near this tree truck structure, is a door leading inside. Take this door in and go north till you come to a series of blocks guarding two treasure chests. Inside thses treasure chest are some rupees and a heart piece. To get both treasure chests, you need to leave and then come back. Other then that, it is really simple. 22: This heart piece is rather simple too. Go to the Misery Mire area of the Dark World. Now, once you got there, go to the far northeast area of the swamp. Go so you're bordering over some mountains and other stuff. Use the magic mirror to warp back to the Light World. You should find be on a cliff way above the Desert of Mystery. Look around the cliff, you should see a large green stone located on the cliff. Left up the green stone to reveal a staircase leading downward. Go down the stairs which will lead to a secret cave. You will need to push some blocks out of the way, to get through. At the corner of the cave is a heart piece. 23: You would probably wanna get this heart piece before entering Turtle Rock. But go for the heart piece before your actually gonna go to Turtle Rock. In the Light World, head up to Death Mountain and warp over to the Dark World. Once you got to the Dark World, head over to the Spectacle Rock, using your magic mirror. Jump of the front of the Tower of Hera. Now go west. Go across the bridges and stuff until you come to the east part of the Light World. You should see a cliff, use the ladder to get to the top. On the cliff are three stakes, but you must get rid of them in a certain order. The order is right, up and left. Use your hammer and get rid of them in that order. If you did it correctly, you'll be in the Dark World at the middle of a cliff. If your going to Turtle rock, use the Quake Spell or your have to do what you did all over again. Use the Quake Spell over the Quake symbol to open Turtle Rock below. Head west a little bit, about one screen over. Go west and then South until you run into a large green rock. Lift up the rock and toss it to your left and it will reveal a staircase leading downward. In order to get to the door in front of you, you need to cross over an invisible path. To see the path, you need to use Ether Medallion's magic. O across the path and through the door on the other side. Bomb the wall on the left side and go through the hole in the wall. Head South. You will come back outside. Once you get outside, use the Magic Mirror to get back to the Light World. You will be on a platform with a heart piece. 24: This is the final heart piece. It is located at Turtle Rock and you can only get to it by Turtle Rock. OK, go through Turtle Rock, Where the big treasure chest is in the dungeon. Head South through the door in the that room. You'll be outside in the Dark World. Use your magic mirror to warp back to the Light World. Now go back into the cave. Get rid of the enemies there and go North to another room. Inside that other room holds a treasure chest. The treasure chest holds your final heart piece. |
