Minish Cap Item Guide



Items


Bombs/Bomb bag
Location - The Minish’s house just outside the Minish Village in the woods.
Description - These can be used to blow up numerous objects and to attack enemies with. Later in the game you can upgrade to remote bombs from the same Minish house by fusing Kinstones.


Boomerang
Location - This can be bought in the shop in Hyrule town. You can also get an upgraded version by fusing with Tingle and his brothers.
Description - A useful item for stunning enemies and gathering items. Although it is not necessary to have this to complete the game. The upgraded boomerang can be controlled a bit more and travels further.


Bow and Arrows
Location - Castor Wilds.
Description - Can be used to shoot far away targets such as eyes and enemies. The arrows can be upgraded to light arrows if you fuse with people until a portal in Hyrule field appears. The only problem is you must do this before the final level or you will not be able to receive them at all.


Cane of Pacci
Location - Cave of Flames.
Description - A yellow cane that can turn some things upside down when its power hits them. The power can also be used to shoot Link out of holes to reach high up areas.


Flame lantern
Location - Temple of Droplets
Description - A lantern used to help Link see in dark rooms and to light torches.


Gust Jar
Location - Deepwood Shrine
Description - A jar that can be used to suck in enemies then spit them out. Is also useful when Link wants to travel by boat using wind power.


Mirror Shield
Location - Given to you by Biggoron
Description - Basically the same as your small shield except with this you can reflect enemy attacks to damage them.


Mole Mitts
Location - Fortress of Winds
Description - A pair of gloves with claws on the end that enable Link to dig through soft rock and dig holes in the ground to uncover various items.


Ocarina of Wind
Location - Link finds this at the end of the Fortress of Winds
Description - A musical instrument that is able to warp Link to different warp points throughout Hyrule making travelling a little easier.


Pegasus Boots
Location - The shoe shop in Hyrule Town
Description - Boots that can make Link run so fast it is almost like he is walking on air. Very useful for traveling through the swamp.


Roc’s Cape
Location - Palace of Winds
Description - A cape that lets Link jump over and onto a number of things. Useful for jumping over large gaps.


Small Shield
Location - Given to Link by Zelda near the start of the game
Description - The main shield of Link throughout this adventure, very good at blocking attacks from all sorts of enemies.


Smith’s Sword
Location - Given to Link by the King after Zelda is turned to stone
Description - Used to attack things, cut grass, hit switches, even break boulders, basically does what a sword should do.


White sword
Location - Given to Link after Cave of Flames
Description - When infused with elements this sword allows Link to split into multiple copies of himself.


Four Sword
Location - This is created when all four elements are infused into the white Sword
Description - The power of this sword is so great it allows Link to free people who have been turned to stone.


Equipment


Flippers
Location - Under the Library in a secret cave
Description - Allow Link to swim in any deep body of water and also to dive below to discover hidden items.


Grip Ring
Location - Can be bought from a Deku Scrub on Mt Crenel
Description - This allows Link to climb up the steep cliffs to get to the top of the mountain.


Kinstone bag
Location - Given to Link after the first dungeon in Hyrule Town
Description - A bag used to store all of the Kinstones you collect throughout the game.


Power Bracelets
Location - Hyrule Town behind the fountain
Description - Allows Link to move pots and even bookcases when he is small.

Map
Location - One in each dungeon throughout Hyrule
Description -Shows which rooms you have been it


Compass
Location - One in each dungeon throughout Hyrule
Description -Shows where items, keys, and bosses are hidden in the dungeon.


Small Key
Location - Several in each dungeon throughout Hyrule
Description -Unlocks doors and can only be used once and in the dungeon you found it in


Boss Key
User - Young and Adult Link
Location - One in each dungeon throughout Hyrule
Description -Unlocks room to boss
