The Legend of Zelda; The Minish Cap Skills List

Skill 1: Spin Attack
-> Received from the trainer in town after finishing the first dungeon.
-> Hold down the Sword button to charge up your power and release it to spin around once for a powerful blow.

Skill 2: Sword Beam
-> Received from a secret trainer hidden in a room under the castle. Simply go right on the castle's main garden and cut down the grass to find a set of stairs. Light up the candles with the Burning Lantern and you will learn this skill.
-> If at full health, perform a simple sword slash to send out an energy beam in a straight direction.

Skill 3: Dash Attack
-> After getting the Pegasus Boots (Or perhaps after the 3rd dungeon), speak to the trainer in town to learn this.
-> Equip the Pegasus Boots and the Sword and dash to hold your sword ahead of you for a quick surprise attack.

Skill 4: Desperate Sword Beam
-> After having 10 or more Hearts, go to Lake Hylia and find a tree groove slightly left from the house with the third book to learn this.
-> Performed just like Skill 2, but this will activate only when you have your very last 1/4th of a heart.

Skill 5: Object Break
-> After the second dungeon I believe, speak to the trainer in town.
-> This one allows you to break pots, vases, and what not using a simple sword strike.

Skill 6: Dash Thrust
-> Go to the wing stone in Gonguru Mountain and jump down the ledge and head right all the way then climb the wall. Clone yourself and open the door.
->Move forward and press R to roll and then use the sword to end with a thrust.

Skill 7: Air Thrust
-> After getting the Mantle return to the trainer in town to learn this.
-> Jump once with the Mantle and use your sword to make devastating thrust.

Skill 8: Spin Dash
-> Received from the ghost trainer under a tomb in the Swamp after you have accomplished the other 7 Skills.
-> Charge up your sword and as you spin, keep hitting the sword button to advance forward on the spin.

Skill Upgrade: Sword Charge Speed Up
-> Received from the master behind the waterfall on the upper right corner of the swamp which is opened up by a King Stone fusion (Not sure yet which...)
->Speeds up your charge speed.

Skill Upgrade: Cloning Speed Up
-> Received from the secret master behind a waterfall in the Seki Waterfall screen after King Stone fusing with the trainer of Skill 2.
-> Speeds up the time for the clone bar to fill up.

Skill Upgrade: Whirlwind Spin Attack
-> Obtained from a secret master behind a waterfall in the Swamp. Kinfuse with the sixth trainer to open the path.
-> Allows for a way further reach of movement while executing Skill 8.
