Link
The decendant of the Link in Ocarina of Time (and Majora's Mask), he lives on a small island with his grandmother and sister.

Aryll
Link's little sister Aryll is kidnapped early in the game.

Grandma
Link's grandmother gives him his "Hero's Clothes" at the begginning of the game, and later on his first shield

Tetra
Tetra is the leader of the pirates. She is a fiesty fireball with lots of energy.

Zelda
Note:This is a spoiler so don't read on if you don't want to know.
Zelda surfaces much later in the game. Tetra is the a decendant of the first Zelda.

Red Lion
The Red Lion is Link's faithful boat that can talk. Later on he is revealed as Hyrule's Ancient King.

Sturgeon
A grumpy old man that likes to spend time reading and doesn't like his brother's constant training.

Orca
Orca is an old man who loves a good fight. He trains Link and gives him his first sword.

Beedle
Beedle is a traveling merchant. He owns a ship and travels around. He's quite useful as he seems to be in many locations at the same time. Go figure.

Ganondorf
Ganondorf is the evil (genuis?) person behind the whole plot. He surfaces much later in the game, after saving Aryll.

Fishman
This fish marks squares on your map. You can find him at each square (total of 49).
